Soriana

The Soriana began in 1969 as an armchair concept — a study in how little structure a seat truly needs. More than fifty years on, the Soriana collection has evolved into a sofa that reads as sculpture and sits like an invitation. Soft, generous contours fold and gather rather than assemble, giving casual interiors a sense of relaxed luxury without formality.

What makes the Soriana unmistakable is its vice-like grip: an exposed metal structure that cinches the upholstery and holds the entire form in tension. Nothing is hidden. The mechanism that makes the piece possible is also what makes it beautiful — a hallmark of Italian mid-century design thinking and the reason the Soriana remains a reference point in modern living room furniture today.
