Panthella Floor Lamp
485,00£
The Panthella floor lamp, inspired by Verner Panton, was designed in 1971. It is one of the most famous Panton designs, characterised by its harmonic, peaceful shape. The hemispheric shade ensures a soft, pleasant light.
The fundamental principle behind Panthella was to create a lamp with a base that serves as a reflector and a shade. Panthella offers direct and indirect light. The direct light shines downwards, and the indirect light through the white lampshade.
The shape of a mushroom inspired the organic design of the Panthella floor lamp. The lamp has a chromed ball on top of the shade, which, besides its visual function, also raises the lamp's top to change the bulb if necessary.
The lamp's light source is under the milk-white, hemispheric acrylic shade. Together with the trumpet-formed base, it contributes to the distribution of excellent light and the whole harmonic form.
Verner Panton's Panthella lamp is also available as a table lamp.
