The Swan-inspired Chair is one of the most graceful silhouettes in design history: a sculpted, wing-armed lounge chair created in the late 1950s for a landmark Copenhagen hotel, its curved shell containing not a single straight line.

Inspired by that Danish masterwork, the chair's moulded form flows from embracing back to outstretched arm "wings" in one continuous gesture, poised on a slim swivelling star base. It manages a rare double act: instantly iconic, and genuinely comfortable for long sitting.

A moulded shell, layered foam and quality upholstery over a polished base deliver the precise curves and durability the design demands.

Use one as a sculptural accent in a living room or bedroom, or a facing pair for the classic hotel-lobby conversation setting. Sixty-five years on, still the most elegant seat in any room it enters.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
