The Pierre Jeanneret-inspired Bench brings the celebrated Chandigarh furniture vocabulary to a long, low format — solid wood, hand-woven cane and the unmistakable geometry of 1950s modernist India.

Inspired by the benches designed for Chandigarh's civic buildings, it pairs a woven cane seat with a robust hardwood frame on the collection's characteristic angled legs. The result is graphic from every viewpoint yet warm and natural in material — a rare combination that explains why these designs are among the most collected of the twentieth century.

Cane is a wonderfully practical seat material: breathable, gently flexible and increasingly characterful with age, supported here by traditional joinery built for daily use.

Place it at the foot of a bed, in a hallway for shoes-on seating, along a dining table in place of chairs, or beneath a window as a low perch. Wherever it lands, it brings collector-grade design presence.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.
