The Polar Bear-inspired Armchair is a masterclass in sculptural comfort: a sumptuously rounded lounge chair whose curved back wraps around the sitter like an embrace. Inspired by a legendary 1940s French design beloved by collectors, it brings gallery-level presence to the everyday living room.

Every line is soft. The enveloping backrest sweeps down into full, rounded armrests; the deep seat cushion sits low and generous; and the whole form rests on short, discreet wooden legs that let the upholstery take centre stage.

Underneath, a solid hardwood frame and layered high-density foam give the chair its distinctive plump geometry and lasting support, finished in tactile upholstery that begs to be touched — bouclé-style fabrics suit it especially well.

Use it as a statement accent chair in a reading corner, or pair two opposite the matching Polar Bear sofa for a luxuriously curvy lounge setting that softens even the most minimal interior.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
