The Capitol-inspired Dining Armchair brings the celebrated Chandigarh design language to the dining table — solid wood, hand-woven cane and the collection's unmistakable compass-leg geometry, now with armrests for long, comfortable dinners.
Inspired by the modernist furniture created for Chandigarh's civic buildings in 1950s India, the chair pairs bold V-shaped legs with an angled cane back and seat. The armrests add both comfort and presence, making it equally suited to the head of a dining table or service as a desk chair.
Quality hardwood and genuine woven cane deliver durability with warmth — cane breathes through long meals and grows more characterful with age.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.
Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.
EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.
RETURNS
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.
Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
