The Chieftains-inspired Chair is Danish design at its most commanding: a monumental 1940s lounge chair whose broad leather-style planes, sculpted wooden frame and throne-like bearing made it an instant — and enduring — masterpiece.

Inspired by the celebrated original, the design composes generous saddle-style surfaces across an exposed frame of remarkable joinery, every element oversized yet exactly judged. It is furniture with genuine presence: part modernism, part heraldry, entirely magnificent.

Quality hardwood and substantial leather-style materials honour the cabinetmaker standards the original set, built for decades of distinguished service.

Give it the room's position of authority — study, library, fireside — with space to be admired in the round. Leadership, upholstered.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
