Lead Time

Lead time for this item is between 12 to 14 weeks is standard as manufacturers do not, in general, hold stock of these pieces. This is due to the customisation of the item (e.g. fabrics, surface finishes) and the fact that most of our products are hand finished to order.

The DS-600-inspired Stool Intermediate Element is a backless seat module for the "endless sofa" system — the piece that lets your composition change direction, depth and function mid-run.

Zip it between seated elements to create a chaise-style lounging section, run several together as a freestanding upholstered bench, or use it to let the sofa curve where a backed element would sit awkwardly. Inspired by the radical 1970s Swiss original, the system rewards experimentation: every element connects to every other.

The stool shares the collection's construction and detailing — dense, high-resilience foam over a robust frame, wrapped in horizontally channelled upholstery that aligns perfectly with the seated modules.

Practical uses abound: extra guest seating that tucks against the main sofa, a window bench, an oversized footrest, or the connective tissue in a room-wrapping DS-600 landscape. A quietly essential module.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
