The Egg-inspired Footstool is the classic companion piece to one of the most famous lounge chairs of the twentieth century — a sculpted, upholstered ottoman that completes the full recline experience.

Inspired by a landmark 1950s Danish design, the footstool mirrors the chair's fluid, shell-like curves in miniature: a gently dished, padded top on a slim four-star swivel-style base in polished metal. The proportions are precisely matched to the Egg-style chair's seat height, so legs rest at the ideal lounging angle.

Construction pairs a moulded inner shell with high-density foam and quality upholstery over a sturdy aluminium-style base — the same recipe of sculpture and comfort that made the original an icon.

Essential with an Egg-style chair, but far from limited to it: use it as a standalone perch, a soft side seat, or a refined footrest with any lounge chair in a mid-century-inspired room.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
