The LC1-inspired Armchair is machine-age modernism's lightest touch: the celebrated 1920s "basculant" chair whose slender tubular frame, taut sling seat and pivoting backrest resolved sitting into pure engineered motion.

Inspired by the iconic original, the chair's genius is responsiveness — the back tilts freely with the sitter's movement, the sling flexes in sympathy, and the polished frame carries it all with the visual weight of a line drawing.

Quality steelwork and fine sling materials deliver the collection's exacting standards with daily durability.

Use a pair flanking a low table for the classic modernist salon, or a single as a study chair of historic pedigree. The armchair, reduced to its moving parts — beautifully.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
