The Pierre Jeanneret-inspired Stool distils the iconic Chandigarh design language into its most compact form: a solid wood frame, a hand-woven cane seat and the bold, angled leg geometry that made these pieces modernist legends.
Inspired by the utilitarian stools created for Chandigarh's civic project in 1950s India, it proves that even the simplest furniture can carry real design weight. The proportions are exact, the joinery honest, and the woven cane top both comfortable and beautifully textural.
Built from quality hardwood with genuine cane, it's as durable as it is decorative — cane breathes and flexes, and the timber frame only gains character with years of use.
Use it as occasional seating that tucks away easily, a bedside or sofa-side table for books and coffee, a plant stand, or a bathroom perch. Few small pieces work harder — and none look better doing it.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.
EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.
RETURNS
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.
Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
