The Platner-inspired Side Chair is mid-century glamour resolved in wire: a sculpted seat carried on the celebrated cascading base of fine steel rods — furniture that behaves, in its designer's famous ambition, like decorative rain.

Inspired by the iconic 1960s collection, the chair's shimmering circular base fans from floor to seat in precise vertical rhythm, catching light like a beaded curtain, while the upholstered shell above delivers genuine dining and occasional comfort.

Quality steelwork and fine upholstery honour the original's jewellery-grade construction.

Set them around the matching Platner dining table for the full luminous ensemble, or use singles wherever a seat should also be a small sculpture. Modernism's most elegant downpour.

We also welcome COM enquiries from both private clients and designers.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
