The Womb-inspired Chair & Ottoman set delivers mid-century's most famous comfort commission complete: the legendary curl-up lounge chair with its matching footrest — total sanctuary, assembled.

Inspired by the celebrated 1940s design created in answer to a request for "a chair like a basket full of pillows", the sculpted shell invites every posture — legs up, sideways, fully nested — while the matched ottoman extends the sanctuary to full stretch.

Moulded shells, layered foam and quality upholstery over polished steel bases deliver icon-grade curves with daily-lounging durability.

Claim a window or fireside corner for the pair, add a reading lamp, and settle the household's best-seat dispute permanently. The embrace, with footnotes.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order — we work hard to keep these as competitive as possible.

Larger items are shipped via pallet freight and delivered to kerbside — the courier will bring your order to your doorstep, garage, or the nearest accessible entrance point. Please note that for insurance reasons, couriers are unable to enter your home or assist with unloading and unpacking. We recommend having a helping hand ready on delivery day. Pallet freight services don't typically offer timed delivery slots or parcel-style tracking. An EORI number may be required for customs clearance.

EU and international orders may be subject to VAT or other local charges. These fees must be paid to release your goods from customs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict or refund these amounts.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, it must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions may affect your eligibility for a full refund.

Please note that Made-to-Order items — those produced in a specific finish, colour, or fabric to your specifications — cannot be returned.
